We visited Memorial Day 2007, stayed for 4 days and had a wonderful time. Eagles Lair had wonderul views, sitting on the back deck and overlooking the whole area is just breathtaking. Plenty of room for guests, 2 large tables seat 6 on deck and about 5-6 other chairs. Inside is cleaner than any place we stay - Great Job!!! Oven did not work when we where there but not a problem, we BBQ'd. Patrick was very accommodating, I had to bake a cake for our son's birthday and they allowed me to use another unit oven for that, worked out GREAT.... Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful, we will be back again. Thank You!!

The Eagle's Nest at Capodimonte exceeded our expectations in every way. The views were outstanding and the location is perfect for going from one end of the Smokies to the other. I can't begin to say enough good things about Eagle's Nest at Capodimonte. The accommodations, the view and the hospitality far exceeded our expectations. Eagle Two was absolutely immaculate, as were the grounds and gardens. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to come back to the "real world". I would highly recommend Eagles Nest to everyone I know! It simply can't be beat! We will be returning as soon as time permits.

What a place! We have just returned from a wonderful week in the Smokies. Our accommodations were outstanding! The views must be seen to be believed. Eagle's Lair Chalet is beautiful, immaculate, and well appointed. You get so much...so much more...for your money. This is absolutely hands down one of the nicest rental homes we have ever stayed in. The photos of the place do it no justice whatsoever. If you are planning a trip to the Smokies, Eagle's Nest at Capodimonte is a must consideration for your home away from home. The hosts are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Again, Eagle's Lair is highly recommended! A+ rating..

Pat, We want to express our thanks for providing such a delightful place to vacation. While there is a lot to do and see in Western North Carolina, we've done most of it in the past. It was a delight to just sit peacefully in your lovely house and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views. Our outing to the Biltmore House was an interesting experience, but given a choice, I'd rather sleep at Eagle's Lair. Our son left one day before us, so we went ahead and washed all their towels and sheets for you. We will certainly recommend you to anyone else who asks if we know a nice place to stay! Pat and Ron... Once again, we enjoyed the chalet and the wonderful feel of your property. The views, of course, are incredible, even through the smokiness of the Smokies! We were looking for a place with a beautiful view of the mountains and Eagle's Nest at Capodimonte was more than we had imagined; ---the view from the front porch includes the mountains of Tennessee and the view from the back deck overlooks the North Georgia and North Carolina ranges! The accommodations were also extremely nice and the exterior was also lovely. We definitely plan to revisit and highly recommend to others.

We just returned from staying at Eagle's Lair. The word my husband used continuosly was "AWESOME". Our stay was truly awesome!!! Ron and Pat have done a beautiful job creating a quiet getaway. Our boys even enjoyed the solitude, playing games with us, cards, the spa, the storm, the early sunrise, etc. We are looking at our schedule trying to figure out when we can return. Ron & Pat offer exquisite & enchanting accommodations in a breathtaking setting. Everything is impeccably kept from the grounds to the building and interiors. They are also gracious hosts who don't mind sharing stories with guests. I had heard Ron is an excellent cook. I was teased by the delicious smells coming out of his kitchen and wonder why he doesn't consider adding a dinner meal to part of the amenities at the Eagle's Nest. Don't miss this experience. It is one you won't soon forget!

Ron and Pat have done it again! The hospitality, charm, house and view can't be beat in Dillsboro. The area is one of our favorites in Western NC and we've stayed at multiple places in and around Dillsboro. Eagle's Nest tops them all. The view can not be matched! The house (or the apartment) is equipped with everything you might need. Tranquility and the friendliest hosts around! The most relaxing few days we've had in months!! The new deck and hot tub was an outstanding addition! The landscaping is superb! We'll definitely return again and again.

The Eagle's Perch Studio has such an amazing view! We were very pleased with the interior as well. We did take time for seeing waterfalls and sites in the area, but found our best memories were from relaxing on the deck and grilling while enjoying that magnificent view. Hosts were wonderful about being available when needed more info on the area, but kept enough distance that you almost felt you had the place to yourself. We highly recommended this spot and hope to return soon!

My family and I greatly enjoyed our time at the chalet! The chalet and gardens are stunning, especially set against the fantastic views of the Smokey Mountains! The chalet could not have been more perfect and was more than we had expected. Eagle's Lair chalet is truly a gem in the NC Mountains and will be our destination of choice for many years to come. Also, Ron and Pat are exceptional hosts and were very helpful with information about the area.

What a beautiful place. We travel to the NC mountains often, and we have now found our home away from home. The views have to be seen to be believed, and the chalet is absolutely beautiful. It is well decorated and furnished. We expected to find "antiques" as we have in other rentals we have stayed at, but found the furnishings to be new, in great shape, and clean. The chalet, in fact, was spotless. The cleanest place we have ever stayed. We have truly found our home away from home. We have already rebooked for May, 2005. Being so close to Atlanta, we will be making frequent trips to this unique and beautiful spot!

Just returned from our second stay at Eagle's Nest at Capodimonte and it was as good as the first. Having stayed in both the Chalet and Eagles Nest I can say that both are equally impressive. Well kept with everything that you would need. Comfortable, clean and private. Both the Chalet and the Eagles Nest have impressive views and wonderful decks for relaxing. Pat and Ron are wonderful host's who will be sure that your stay is perfect. We look forward to many return visits.

We just returned from a week at Eagle's Nest at Capodimonte. The accommodations were more than we expected in a vacation rental. Everything you needed and more was at your finger tips. This rental is centrally located to all the great spots of interest in WNC, Tenn, and N. Georgia. The views are more spectacular than advertised...to say they are breathtaking minimizes their actual beauty. We lucked out when we found this place...and we cannot wait to return.

We were absolutely enchanted by the entire experience. The accommodations were wonderful and the view was magnificent! We certainly intend to revisit as soon as possible. We recommend you call Pat or Ron upon arrival so they can meet you and guide you to the chalet the first time as it is off the beaten path. It is easy to find once you know where it is.
